- Complete you WOA Basketball Registration and background check in Arbiter.
- Review the PNBOA Member Services Agreement (MSA) which is available in the PNBOA Hub on Arbiter and accept it using this Google form by October 31st.

If you are planning on taking a Leave of Absence (LOA) please complete the request form ASAP. - Start updating your Blocks in Arbiter – we have middle school and Fall league games starting in September and you may be scheduled unless you have the time blocked.
- Get familiar with the NFHS Rules Changes for this season.
- Request access to HUDL. This is the plaform where video observers will view Varsity games for their observations – you can have the same access to request videos from coaches and download it for your own use. If you got access last year you are fine. If you have not requested access before go to hudl.com/jointeam and use Team Code qurgy5e
- Check out the PNBOA calendar for upcoming meeting and tournament dates.
- Attend Membership Meetings — see the calendar for dates.
NOTE: Any member that knows they will not be able to attend the required meetings (3 out of 6) can send the Membership chair (membership@pnboa.org) an email stating the reason. (e.g. I work on Saturdays)
Officials may receive credit if you are working a PNBOA game during the meeting hours or you can attend another WOA certified Association/Board meeting in the state.

A note about dues
PNBOA Members pay 2 sets of dues.
WOA Dues
WOA Dues are deducted from a game check once you complete the WOA registration and background check and work school games. For 2024-25 the WOA dues total $115. $80 of that is the annual WOA fee (if you work multiple WOA sports you pay this once) and $35 of that is the Basketball sport fee.

PNBOA Dues
For the 2024-25 season PNBOA dues are $60. However – if you met your PNBOA dues obligation* for the 2023-24 season, the $60 PNBOA dues for the 2024-25 season your dues will be waived.
If you need to pay PNBOA dues for the 2024-25 season you will be contacted by Membership and the Treasurer. You will have the option to have those dues deducted from a PNBOA Recreation check prior to Nov 15, 2024 or you will be able to pay them via credit card or check.
*PNBOA Dues obligations are considered met for the 2023-24 season if you were a Member and paid the $80 dues, a 2nd year Apprentice that paid $40 dues or a 1st year Apprentice that was not required to pay dues.
